Raschal is an Independent multi-disciplinary Irish Musician from Newry who creates big heavy distorted hard rock that’s inspired by the sounds of Nirvana, Hum, and Oasis.

He explores a variety of topics that come from being an anxious introvert on his debut album “Scorned Sun” From an observation of how a party would unfold when the party goers are aware of the end of the world, to the highs and lows of trying to make friends in a busy beer garden, to the self-acceptance of realising you don’t fit in, and finding inherent strength of being the odd one out. all of these themes are paired with instrumentals that range from the heavy distorted riffs of metal, to the simple clean melodies of pop.

His new double single, “Synebys/Mass Appeal” explores the themes of death and acceptance, while having that familiar heavy sound with a psychedelic twist, while also showcasing his love for trying out different genres like electronic and dance, and not sticking to just the heavy melodies of hard rock and metal.

He hopes to one day be like his favourite artists, R. Stevie Moore and Tyler, The Creator, creatives who express themselves not just through their music, but through everything else outside of it like music videos and short films. He wants to more than anything, make things for the fun of it.
